Throughout his career, Aaron has covered numerous compelling stories, but one that particularly touched his heart was the story of India Williams, a seven-year-old victim of gun violence who was tragically paralyzed from the waist down.
Devoted to seeking justice for India and improving her life, Aaron poured his heart and efforts into this story, determined to bring attention to her plight and find her shooter. Despite the tragic incident, Aaron was deeply moved by India’s resilient spirit and joyful demeanor, even in the face of adversity.
Born in Philadelphia, Aaron Baskerville brought a wealth of experience to NBC10, having previously worked as a general assignment reporter and weekend fill-in anchor for WXYZ in Detroit. Prior to that, he held anchor and reporting roles at esteemed stations in Michigan, Illinois, and New York, including WWMT in Kalamazoo, Michigan, CLTV in Chicago, Illinois, and WKBW in Buffalo, New York.
