Abby Fridmann joined the News 4 team as the “Weekend Wake-up” anchor and weekday reporter in November of 2020. She’s a proud Buffalonian and is thrilled to be back home!
Abby Fridmann Biography
Before coming to Buffalo, Abby worked at WVNY/WFFF in Burlington Vermont, as a Morning Anchor and Feature Reporter. She also reported in Washington D.C. as a Capitol Hill Correspondent, as she finished her master’s degree.
While in Burlington, Abby covered a wide range of topics. From political events, like the presidential campaigns of Senator Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump; to more community-based stories, like helping shelter animals find homes, and featuring the best eateries around town.
Abby attended The College at Brockport, and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and broadcasting with a concentration in media production. She continued her education at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication, where she earned a master’s degree in broadcasting and digital journalism.
