Prior to her role at FNC, Hasnie spent several years as an anchor and investigative reporter at WXIN-TV, an affiliate of Fox in Indianapolis, IN, starting from 2011. During her time there, she confidently led the 4 PM/ET newscast called “First at Four.” Before her tenure at WXIN-TV, she worked at WANE-TV (CBS) in Fort Wayne, IN for three years.
In this position, she served as an investigative reporter and substitute anchor, making significant contributions to the field. Notably, her investigative reporting on the voyeurism law sparked legislative action in Indiana to address loopholes in the system. Hasnie’s exceptional work as a journalist has garnered recognition, including an Emmy nomination and accolades from the local Indiana Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.
Early in her career, Hasnie gained valuable experience as an on-air intern reporter for WICS-TV (ABC) in Springfield, IL. She initially ventured into the industry as an intern at WTHR-TV (NBC) in Indianapolis and GEO-TV, an international network based in Pakistan. Hasnie holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Indiana University, where she was honored as a Dick Yoakam Broadcast Journalism Scholar. She remains involved with her alma mater by mentoring aspiring journalists.
Hasnie was born in Pakistan and spent her formative years in Bedford, IN. She has also lived in Saudi Arabia, providing her with a diverse and global perspective that enriches her reporting.
