AdminIn May of 2020, Alaina Jonathan joined the Erie News Now team, embarking on her journey as a multimedia journalist.
Prior to her move to Erie, Alaina obtained her degree in Journalism and Broadcasting, with a minor in international relations, from SUNY Brockport in Rochester, NY. Her passion for journalism was evident during her time as an intern at WROC News 8 in Rochester and Spectrum News Buffalo.
Having grown up in Buffalo, the transition to Erie was a familiar one for Alaina, as the two cities are conveniently connected by I-90. She is fully prepared for Erie’s winters and proudly declares herself a Buffalo Bills fan, a testament to her unwavering loyalty to her hometown team.
When she’s not immersed in reporting, you can find Alaina indulging in any kind of reality television, a guilty pleasure she enjoys in her downtime.
