Alex Libby is an American journalist from Freeport, just north of Portland. He currently works for KBJR 6 as a meteorologist.
Alex Libby Biography
Alex has spent his whole life in Maine, in a place just north of Portland, known as Freeport. He pursued Meteorology at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, where he minored in Mathematics. Alex has had a passion for meteorology since he was just a 5 years old boy.
For as long as he can remember Libby enjoyed playing hockey. That love for hockey is considered why he enjoys Northlands winter weather. Hockey is not the only sport he loves, Alex also played some baseball throughout college at PSU.
His enjoyment of the cold and getting to report the weather are some of the reasons he does not mind being far from home. In his free time, he loves looking for agates along Lake Superior and Skipping stones along the North Shore.
