Alex Loeb is an American journalist from Washington D.C, he currently works at Longhorn Network as an anchor and announcer. He has worked at LHN since 2015.
Alex Loeb Biography
Loeb is Originally from the Washington D.C area, he attended the University of Miami from which he graduated in the year 2000. He graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Loeb later joined WPLG in Miami as a sportscaster, he was there until January 2008.
He later joined ESPN in 2009 where he was an anchor, among other things he was a commentator at Bristol, Conn. studios, where he worked on numerous shows and platforms. Alex went on to co-host “Adams & Loeb” noon – 3 pm from Monday to Friday on ESPNAustin.
Alex also worked for 104.9 FM still in Austin, as a host of “The Lockdown” that ran from 10 AM – 1 PM CT, from Monday to Friday. He had also been working for Longhorn Network on Play by Play as an announcer since 2012, in 2015 he added another role and officially moved to LHN as both an anchor and announcer for Play by play. He also Hosts Longhorn Extra: Upon Further Review, which is a Monday evening football show. Alex also works by providing play-by-play for many of the network’s 175 live events. Which is a role he is familiar with because of contributing to LHN softball games for the network in the past
