Allen Carter Biography and Career
In 2018, Allen became a part of the Eyewitness News team, joining from his previous role at WKRG in Mobile, Alabama. During his time there, his exceptional storytelling was recognized with an Emmy for his coverage of the 50th Anniversary of Civil Rights Marches and Protests in Selma, Alabama.
In addition to his Emmy award, Allen Carter also received 3 Associated Press Awards for his outstanding work in Sports and Spot News reporting. Before his stint in Mobile, Allen contributed as a reporter at WFXL in Albany, Georgia. While the weather may be a little colder than the Gulf Coast, Allen is thrilled to be in Central Indiana, pursuing his passion for journalism.
Allen kick-started his educational journey at California State University-Northridge, where he majored in Journalism and minored in Political Science, successfully graduating and preparing himself for a promising career in the media industry.
