Anjonae Woodson has joined KBTX as a Lifestyle Producer. She is responsible for producing content on food, family, and fun in the Brazos Valley.

Woodson is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Coastal Bend College in Beeville, Texas, and her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications/Broadcasting from Lindenwood University in Belleville, Illinois. She also earned her Master’s degree in Communications & Digital Media from Texas Southern University in Houston.
Prior to joining KBTX, Woodson worked as a News Reporter intern at KTSU2, Texas Southern University’s student-run radio station. She was then promoted to News Reporter at KTSU 90.9, the Houston radio station housed on campus. She also hosted a weekly show on the station called “The Anjunae Woodson Show.”
Woodson is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and the Houston Association of Black Journalists. She is also a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the media.
“I am so excited to be joining the KBTX team,” said Woodson. “I love the Brazos Valley, and I am looking forward to sharing the latest news and stories with our viewers.”
Woodson’s work can be seen on KBTX’s website and on the station’s social media pages. She can also be heard on her weekly show, “Brazos Valley this Morning,” which airs weekdays at 3 p.m.
