Before settling in Colorado Springs in March of 2016, Bart spent an impressive 14 years in Corpus Christi, TX, where his anchoring skills earned him recognition. He was named Best News Anchor in 2014 (Second Place) and 2015 (First Place) in his division by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters.

Although originally from Houston, Bart’s fascination with Colorado led him to explore various parts of the state during his summers and winters while growing up. Now, having finally made Colorado his home, he couldn’t be happier.

Bart proudly considers himself a gearhead, often seen equipped with one of his many radio scanners while tracking breaking news or capturing moments using a GoPro attached to himself or an object.

His passion for technology also extends to flying drones, and he recently became a licensed commercial drone pilot. When he’s not working, you can almost always find him with his wife and two young daughters, enjoying Southern Colorado and getting to know all the wonderful people and places the region has to offer.
