Bayley’s roots are deeply embedded in the charming town of Waverly, Nebraska, where she was born and raised. Growing up, she developed a profound affection for the close-knit community and its warm-hearted inhabitants.
From an early age, Bayley knew her calling was in storytelling. With a constant flow of creativity, she found herself engrossed in writing captivating short stories, and her passion for English class knew no bounds. It was at Waverly High School, where she joined the school newspaper, that she realized her destiny as a storyteller.
In pursuit of her dreams, Bayley attended Doane University, graduating in 2017 with a degree in Journalism and a minor in sociology. During her time at Doane, she served as the editor-in-chief for both the school’s newspaper and feature magazine, honing her skills and nurturing her love for storytelling.
Following her graduation, Bayley embarked on a fulfilling journey, doing what she adores most – meeting fellow Nebraskans and sharing their unique stories. She firmly believes that every individual has a compelling story to tell, and she is determined to unearth the essence of humanity in each tale she writes.
During her leisure time, Bayley cherishes moments spent with her family and her beloved 17-year-old cat, Ruby. With a flair for culinary adventures, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and dreams of a potential second career as a pastry chef, further embodying her zest for creativity and exploration.
