Bri’s passion for science and meteorology began in her childhood, driving her to fulfill her dream as a meteorologist at the University of Miami. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine and Atmospheric Science, complemented by a minor in Mathematics and Communications, Bri laid a solid foundation for her career.
Starting her journey, she joined KMAR-TV, an NBC-affiliated TV station in Amarillo, Texas, where she served as a meteorologist and co-host. During her time there, she gained notable experiences, particularly while working on the show “Today in Amarillo,” where she had the thrilling opportunity to chase and witness three tornadoes.
In pursuit of further growth, Bri moved on from KMAR-TV in 2011 and found a new home at ABC7. There, she assumed the role of morning meteorologist for Eyewitness News and even made appearances on local radio shows, including “Good Morning America.”
While firmly establishing herself in the field, Bri decided to temporarily step away from her role at ABC7 in July 2017 to continue her education. Focusing on climate and energy, she joined the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara, pursuing her master’s degree.
Her engaging news delivery and warm demeanor have garnered her a devoted fan base, capturing the hearts of a diverse audience.
