Before returning to South Florida, Brooke gained valuable experience as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter at WCJB in Gainesville. Later, she served as a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor for WINK in Fort Myers, further honing her reporting skills.
Throughout her career, Brooke has covered significant stories that have left a profound impact, including the Parkland mass shooting, the arrest of Roger Stone, and the devastating Hurricanes Michael, Irma, and Dorian. Her dedication and excellence in journalism were recognized in 2016 when she was honored with the prestigious award for Best Multi-Media Journalist in the small market category by the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters.
Brooke’s passion for reporting began at a young age when she joined the news team at Carver Elementary School. As a lifelong dancer, she has always enjoyed the thrill of performing and even attended South Miami Middle School’s esteemed Drama magnet program.
For her education, Brooke graduated from the IB Program at Coral Gables Senior High School, where she was a proud member of the award-winning Gablettes Dance Team. She then pursued a Dual Degree at Florida State University, where she majored in Communications and Creative Writing, with minors in Spanish and Psychology.
