In July 2019, ABC6 welcomed Brooke Taylor as their weekend anchor and weekday reporter. In her role, she not only delivers the news but also takes charge of managing the weekend team, overseeing production, and curating online content for all her shows.

Prior to joining ABC6, Brooke spent two fruitful years in Elmira, New York, where she made her mark as an anchor for the main weekday newscasts. During her time at WETM, she had the honor of hosting the NBC Olympic Zone during the thrilling Pyongyang Winter Olympics, and also showcased her skills as a field anchor for NASCAR weekend.

Brooke’s versatility and ability to engage the audience were further evident when she expertly moderated the congressional debate for New York’s 23rd District.

A proud graduate of the esteemed S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Brooke majored in Broadcast Journalism, honing her talents and passion for storytelling.

Though originally from the bustling city of New York, she has embraced Rhode Island as her second home and is delighted to contribute to the community through her work at ABC6. Her commitment to delivering impactful and relevant news makes her an integral part of the station’s team.
