Bryan Keating Biography and Career Life

Bryan Keating, the Sports Director, is a true Oklahoman, born and raised in the state that he has come to love and represent.

He graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School in 1997, and later pursued his education at Oklahoma State University, where he earned a degree in political science in 2002. Bryan’s passion for broadcast news led him to continue his studies at the University of Colorado, where he graduated in 2004 with a degree in broadcast news.

During his time in Boulder, Bryan gained valuable experience working on CU Sportsmag and interned for KOCO. He also contributed as a writer for the esteemed Oklahoma Pigskin Preview.

Bryan’s career in sports broadcasting took off when he became the weekend sports anchor for KAVU in Victoria, Texas, where he had the exciting opportunity to cover the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.

His passion for covering sports continued to grow, and for the next five years, he devoted his expertise to high school football in Abilene, Texas, while serving as the Sports Director at KTXS. Among his most cherished memories in television was covering Abilene High School’s triumphant victory in the state football championship in 2009.

Outside of his work in the sports world, Bryan enjoys staying active by riding his bike and working out at the gym. He is an avid sports enthusiast, dedicating time to watch and follow various sporting events. When he’s not immersed in sports, Bryan finds joy in the art of cooking, crafting delicious dishes to savor during his free time.
