At KDKA, Bryant covers a diverse range of news stories, from breaking news and human interest pieces to crime reports and lesser-known enterprise stories that deserve attention.

Before becoming a part of KDKA, Bryant’s journalism journey led him to WECT, an NBC/Fox affiliate in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he served as a Multimedia Journalist. In this role, he took charge of shooting, writing, and editing his own stories, and also had the opportunity to fill in as an anchor for various shows.

During his time in Southeast NC, Bryant gained valuable experience in covering severe weather events, particularly Hurricanes Dorian and Isaias in back-to-back years. His dedication to journalism was recognized by the RTDNAC, which honored him for a Special Report centered around the Black Lives Matter protests.

Having a strong foundation in the news and sports industry, Bryant comes from a family deeply connected to the field across the country. While studying at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, he had an extraordinary opportunity to intern with NBC in Brazil, contributing to their coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Originally hailing from Charlotte, NC, Bryant is not unfamiliar with the Pittsburgh area, as he has plenty of family ties here. Over the years, he has spent summers and winters in the region, even participating in Pitt basketball camps when Jamie Dixon was the coach.

With a genuine enthusiasm for telling the stories of the community, Bryant looks forward to immersing himself in all that Pittsburgh has to offer. When he’s not busy reporting, you can often find him staying active, spending time with family, or exploring the many delightful local restaurants in the area.
