Bryndon Manzer, a former standout guard from Oklahoma State University, joined ESPN in 2002, where he now serves as a Men’s College Basketball Analyst covering Big 12 games.
In addition to his role at ESPN, Manzer also works as an investment advisor at Utica Capital.
Prior to his broadcasting career, Manzer had an extensive coaching background. After concluding his college career, he joined the St. Gregory’s University men’s basketball staff in 1995 as an assistant coach.
From there, he took on the role of head coach for the women’s basketball team in 1996, before eventually transitioning to become the head coach for the men’s basketball team at St. Gregory’s. Under his leadership, the St. Gregory’s Cavaliers achieved their first 20-win season in 2000, and Manzer’s teams excelled academically, boasting a 100 percent graduation rate during his tenure as head coach.
Manzer’s basketball journey began at St. Gregory’s Junior College, where he played for two years, earning accolades as the NJCAA Region II leading scorer and obtaining his associate’s degree. He later transferred to Oklahoma State University to play for the legendary coach Eddie Sutton, and in 1994, he graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in marketing.
As a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Manzer left a lasting legacy at Oklahoma State as the all-time 3-point field goal percentage leader. Additionally, he earned recognition as the Sooner Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
With a diverse background in both playing and coaching, Manzer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as a Men’s College Basketball Analyst, making him a valuable asset to the ESPN team.
