Caitlin Conrad has joined KSBW after her time at KTVL in Medford, Oregon, where she served as an anchor and reporter for three years. During her tenure, she covered a wide range of stories, from wildfires to courtroom trials, in both southern Oregon and Northern California.
Born and raised in Salem, Oregon, Caitlin is a proud alumna of the University of Oregon, cheering on the Ducks! During her time in Eugene, she pursued her passion for journalism at the School of Journalism and Communication, earning her bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Electronic Media and Public Relations.
Before leaving the university, she had her first taste of the commercial newsroom environment as an intern at KEZI 9 News.
At KSBW Action News 8, Caitlin takes charge of reporting from Monday through Friday. Based primarily in the Monterey Peninsula newsroom, she dedicates her efforts to covering stories relevant to the peninsula community.
In her leisure time, Caitlin enjoys taking ballet classes and exploring the great outdoors. Her absolute favorite activity is going for walks along the rec trail with her husband and their dog, Louie.
