Cecilia Vega born as Cecilia Marcellina Vega is an American journalist. She is currently serving as senior White House correspondent for ABC News. In 2011 she joined the network as a Los Angeles-based correspondent. Apart from her White House assignment, she had rotated with Tom Llamas as the anchor of the weekend editions of ABC World News Tonight. Vega was from KGO-TV in San Francisco, where she was part of a team awarded an Emmy in 2010 when she joined ABC News. She wrote for the San Francisco, before working in broadcast journalism.
