Before joining the CBS12 News family, Danielle used to be a Maine bureau reporter for two Boston-based news channels, she is very happy to be working in a warmer climate.
Soon after starting at CBS12 I-Team in 2019, she won an Emmy award for business and consumer reporting. This was for her series exposing a South Florida moving company. The Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists awarded her for her special report about Hurricane Michael recovery with a first-place award for government reporting. They also named her Best Reporter in a medium market.
Danielle began her career in TV news at WLBZ in Bangor, Maine. She then worked for several years reporting for WCSH in Portland, this was before becoming the Maine bureau reporter for New England Cable News and NBC 10 Boston. There she covered everything from record-setting blizzards and breaking news, to political controversies, and environmental issues.
She graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University, Danielle attained dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and American History. She was born and raised in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. There she was a state champion public speaker.
