He embarked on his career in 2003 in his native country, where he gained recognition for his roles in significant soap operas such as “Floricienta,” “Soul Pirate,” “You Are My Life,” and “Almost Angels.”

In 2009, David further established his public image by becoming a host on the program “Men’s Spa,” dedicated to the modern man’s aesthetics. The show achieved great success both nationally and internationally.

With his talent and charm, David expanded his career to Mexican audiences. He appeared in the TV series “Los Exitosos Pérez” in 2010, where he played the womanizer Nacho. Sharing the screen with renowned actors such as Verónica Castro, Rogelio Guerra, Jaime Camil, and Ludwika Paleta, David made his mark in the Mexican entertainment industry.

He has been involved in the production of suspense and drama, including the series “Someone Looks at You.” In this show, he portrayed Benjamin Moorish, a charismatic doctor pursued by a serial killer. In 2011, he joined the cast of “The House Next Door,” another internationally successful production by Telemundo. In this series, he portrayed the dual role of Adolphus and Leonardo Acosta, exploring the secrets and surprises between two seemingly normal families. The stellar cast included Gabriel Porras, Miguel Varoni, Maritza Rodríguez, Ximena Duque, Catherine Siachoque, and Daniel Lugo, among others.

In 2012, David took on one of his most outstanding roles, solidifying his status as a leading man in the soap opera world. As Diego Mercader in “The Face of Vengeance,” he portrayed a vulnerable yet strong character, a young man whose childhood was stolen after being wrongfully accused of killing six children at his school. Alongside talented Telemundo actors like Maritza Rodríguez, Marlene Favela, and Saúl Lisazo, David delivered a captivating performance.

Having won the first season of “Top Chef Stars,” David returned to the screen with another starring role in Telemundo’s original production, “In Another Skin,” playing Diego Ochoa.
