Since 2013, Doug Williams has been an integral part of the reporting and anchoring scene in the Tri-State Area.
Before joining CBS2, Doug contributed his expertise to the regional sports network, SNY. During his time there, Doug covered a wide range of local and national sports stories as both a reporter and anchor.
Doug’s journey at SNY began as a reporter, where he also hosted the network’s overnight sports show, “Geico SportsNite,” on weekends. His talent and dedication led him to become the full-time anchor of the popular talk show “Baseball Night in New York.”
Prior to his time at SNY, Doug honed his skills producing digital content at the YES Network.
Being the son of two former local news journalists, Doug developed a passion for the industry early on. Growing up in Connecticut, he later pursued a major in Broadcast Journalism at Elon University in North Carolina. Afterward, Doug has made New York his home and has been actively contributing to the media landscape in the city.
In October of 2022, Doug celebrated a significant milestone in his personal life by getting married. He, his wife, and their beloved dog Milo currently reside in Manhattan, enjoying all that the vibrant city has to offer.
