Elisabeth started her career, working for the company Puma just a year after graduating in fine arts. “I had a scary week, where we didn’t know what the results were, but I’m okay, everything came back okay,” she continued. “Surgery is not fun, but … thankfully I had the blessing of it not being cancer.”

Hasselbeck said the scare forced her and her husband Tim Hasselbeck to have serious talks at home and talks with the kids — daughter Grace, and sons Taylor and Isaiah. She got a little teary-eyed when she said how supportive the whole “Fox” team has been for her.

“So many women and people that I know have starred down the barrel of that cancer gun,” she added. “When they got bad news … and done remarkable things, courageously to fight it. So, I knew that if I got that side of news, I would be in their wings.”

But, the talented host is “thankful” she got a clean bill of health. “I certainly don’t take it for granted now,” she said, adding that her husband was her “hospital buddy” and he “really stepped up.” “He came to sit with me during some ugly hours,” she added.
