Emily Meade is an American film and television. She was discovered by casting director Jennifer Vendetti at a showing of Mean Creek (2004). She was fifteen at the time. Emily has appeared in films such as Twelve (2010), My Soul to Take(2010), Gimme Shelter (2013), That Awkward Moment (2014), Money Monster(2016), and Nerve (2016).
Her television credits include Boardwalk Empire, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Leftovers and Broad City. She also portrayed a future version of the character Ella Blake in series Fringe third season finale and currently appears in the HBO series The Deuce (2017–present).

Meade Attended LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. At the age of seven, she sang “Up, over, through and under” (Sottosopra) at the Italian song contest Zecchino d’Oro. The song won the Zecchino d’Argento prize for the best non-Italian song She then starred in My Soul to Take. Emily then appeared in the 2010 release, Twelve as a drug-addicted teenager.
Meade appeared in the independent drama, Bluebird, in 2013. Emilly was quite rebellious while growing up. Growin up and like most other young girls her age, Emily Meade had a penchant for the television series I Love You. She disclosed that it was her love for this series that spurred her interest in acting.
In 2004 when Emily Meade was attending the showing of Mea Creek, She was seen by the casting director of the show Jennifer Vendetti. Jennifer subsequently picked interest in her. Fast forward to 2 years later, Emily made her debut in the film The House is Burning where she played the role of Anne.
She had a supporting role in the first season of the HBO drama, The Leftovers. In 2016, she portrayed Sydney in the film Nerve starring Dave Franco and Emma Roberts. Meade also wants to write and direct movies. She expressed this desire in an interview and made it known that she wants her career to progress to that.
