Prior to returning to Phoenix, Emma gained valuable experience at 23ABC in Bakersfield, California, where she served as a reporter, anchor, and weather forecaster. During her time there, she covered the aftermath of consecutive earthquakes that shook the town of Ridgecrest. Through her coverage, Emma shared the heartbreaking stories of loss and resilience as the community came together to rebuild.

In the same year, Emma reported on a devastating mass shooting at a high school. Her investigative work uncovered disturbing details about a teenager who tragically took the lives of two classmates and injured three others.

Emma’s journey in journalism began as an intern for CNN in Atlanta, where she honed her skills in writing, editing, and field producing for the Special Projects department.

Returning to Phoenix has brought Emma immense joy as she continues to tell impactful stories and pursue her passion. Beyond her work as a reporter, she finds solace in traveling, enjoying live music, practicing yoga, and savoring delicious meals with her loved ones.
