Jared, a seasoned news anchor, has become a familiar face on 3TV and CBS5 as he anchors the evening newscasts. With a remarkable 15-year tenure at Arizona’s Family, he has worked tirelessly in every possible shift.

Throughout his career, Jared has covered significant stories within Arizona, but he has also taken his reporting beyond borders. From Mexico to Vietnam, the DMZ to Washington, D.C., he has filed reports for Arizona’s Family, providing valuable insights from around the globe.

In the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Jared dedicated time to Poland, where he highlighted the stories of war refugees and the Arizonans who traveled great distances to offer their assistance.

Jared’s outstanding work has garnered him a series of Emmy Awards, particularly for his stories on vulnerable children in Arizona. These stories shed light on the experiences of children in immigration court, the challenges faced by LGBTQ youth, and a unique music program catering to special education students.

In addition to his responsibilities as an evening anchor, Jared brings his passion for travel to the screen as he hosts the “Now Boarding” travel segment on “Good Morning Arizona” every Sunday. He also runs a travel blog, www.jaredsdetours.com, where he shares valuable advice on planning efficient trips to destinations worldwide.

Having grown up in New York, Jared pursued his education at Syracuse University, earning degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. He gained professional experience in Great Falls, Montana, and Spokane, Washington, before ultimately settling in Phoenix.

Phoenix has truly become Jared’s home, a place where he feels a deep connection. He starts his mornings by walking his beloved dogs, Myrtle and Bart, while immersing himself in the latest news podcasts.
