Jeff Blair is an Award winning Canadian newspaper columnist, a sports columnist for Sportsnet and sports talk radio host on Sportsnet 590 The FAN in Toronto. Blair joined Sportsnet in 2010. He is originally from Kingston, Ontario.

Blair is an Award winning Canadian journalist currently serving as the host of the popular weekday morning program, The Jeff Blair Show, Blair joined Sportsnet in 2010 where he has been bringing Sportsnet 590 The FAN listeners up-to-date with the latest sports news and tackles the biggest questions of the day since then. He also serves as a leading Sportsnet baseball analyst, providing invaluable insight to the latest moves in the major leagues and acting as co-host of Baseball Central alongside Kevin Barker.
Born in Kingston, ON, Blair attended the University of Manitoba where he studied political science. While in Winnipeg, Blair jumpstarted his career in sports journalism when he assumed the role of Sports Editor for the school newspaper, The Manitoban.
Following graduation, Blair went on to work for the Winnipeg Free Press for five years, followed by a two-year stint at the Calgary Herald. In 1987, Blair joined the Sports Department at the Montreal Gazette, where he remained for ten years covering city’s sports teams, including the Montreal Expos. He later transitioned to the Globe and Mail in 1997, where he contributed to the national newspaper’s sport page for over a decade before joining Sportsnet in 2010. In 2018, Blair was named the winner of Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s Jack Graney Award.
