Before making his mark in media, Jimmy Failla had an interesting journey. He began his career as a New York City cab driver and eventually transitioned into a professional stand-up comedian. His quick wit and comedic talent caught the attention of Fox, leading to over 500 appearances on various Fox TV shows, including “Kennedy,” “Redeye,” “America’s Newsroom,” “The Greg Gutfeld Show,” “Watters World,” and “The Ingraham Angle.”
In March of 2020, he became the full-time host of “Fox Across America” on Fox News Radio and the Fox Nation Streaming APP. Prior to that, he spent three years as the head writer and on-air talent for “Kennedy” on the Fox Business Channel.
Jimmy’s comedic prowess extends beyond television. He has been featured multiple times on AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live” and appeared on the Jim Gaffigan Show on TV Land. His first one-hour comedy special, “State of the Union,” is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime.
Additionally, Jimmy serves as the head writer and creative director at A-List Comedy, a national comedy service that provides topical humor to over 200 radio stations daily. He also has writing credits for the Federalist and was honored as the Outstanding Male Comedian of the Year at the 2014 New York City Nightlife Awards.
In April 2013, his book titled “Follow That Car! A Cabbie’s Guide to Conquering Fears, Achieving Dreams, and Finding a Public Restroom” was published by Big Top Press.
