Kathryn Herr, the co-anchor of Eyewitness News alongside Ken Malloy, is a prominent figure at CBS47. She brings her expertise to the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 11 p.m. newscasts.

With a tenure at CBS47 since 2001, Kathryn returned to her home state after gaining experience in Oregon and Idaho. As an award-winning Anchor/Reporter, she has covered significant events such as a devastating school shooting, the Wesson mass murder in Fresno, and even had the opportunity to fly at 600 miles per hour with pilots who provided security during Super Bowl 50.

Before joining the Fresno team, Kathryn co-anchored alongside her husband, Jim, at KMTR in Eugene, Oregon. Her career took off at KIDK in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Kathryn is a proud graduate of U.C. Davis, displaying her commitment to education. In her free time, she passionately supports the Dodgers and cherishes her love for animals.
