Prior to her time in Music City, she spent three fulfilling years in Columbus, Ohio, where she covered a wide range of events, from Ohio State’s triumphant 2014 National Championship to the Cleveland Indians’ thrilling run in the 2016 World Series.
Hailing from Spokane, Washington, Kayla attended West Valley High School, where she actively participated in softball and dance team activities. Her passion for sports propelled her towards a broadcasting career.
At Washington State University, she seized the opportunity to work closely with Cougar Athletics, gaining valuable experience with various teams.
Kayla embarked on her professional journey as a news/sports reporter in Bend, Oregon. From there, she continued her adventures, embracing different sports cultures while making stops in Alabama, her hometown Spokane, picturesque Missoula, Montana, and vibrant Tucson, Arizona.
In her free time, Kayla’s enthusiasm for fitness shines through as she embraces various physical activities. Her love for baseball knows no bounds, as she strives to achieve her dream of visiting every MLB stadium.
