Keith Carls has built a distinguished career in broadcast news that spans back to 1985. Throughout his journey, he has held various esteemed newsgathering positions, leaving his mark in San Jose, Palm Springs, Salinas-Monterey, and even venturing overseas to Hong Kong.
Currently, Keith thrives in the dynamic Santa Barbara County-San Luis Obispo County-Ventura County television market, serving as a dedicated general assignment reporter based in Santa Maria.
Keith’s roots trace back to Fullerton, and he pursued his education at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino. Furthering his passion for journalism, he earned a B.A. degree in Journalism from San Jose State University in 1986. Since 1999, the Central Coast has become Keith’s cherished home, where he continues to excel and contribute to the world of broadcast news.
