Since 2012, he has been at WCBI-TV, covering numerous severe weather outbreaks, including the devastating EF-4 tornado in Louisville on April 28th, 2014.
Before making his mark in Columbus, Keith honed his forecasting skills in the challenging Northern Plains, where he tackled all four seasons, from blizzards and droughts to wildfires and extreme temperatures.
During his extensive career, he spent over 6 years as Chief Meteorologist at KEVN-TV in Rapid City, SD, and nearly 3 years as a versatile meteorologist/reporter at KFYR-TV in Bismarck, ND. His on-air journey began at WABG-TV in Greenville, MS, where he also pursued his graduate degree at Mississippi State University.
Keith is an active member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS), and his dedication to his craft is evident in his early recognition as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal recipient. In fact, he holds the AMS CBM seal longer than any other meteorologist in northeast Mississippi.
While meteorology is his passion, Keith also finds joy in spending quality time with family, including his beloved dog, Aurora Lily. He maintains an active lifestyle, often seen at the gym or enjoying leisurely strolls through local parks or along the river trail. Keith’s thirst for adventure is unquenchable, as he seeks out new travel experiences and embraces every opportunity to explore the world.
