Keith’s roots run deep in Lewiston, where he was born and raised. In 1987, he graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. degree in Computer Science Engineering, specializing in systems analysis.
His journey in broadcasting began in 1982 with his first radio show, and soon he found himself hosting one of the LC Valley’s most popular local radio morning shows from 1987 to 1993. While exploring other fields like banking, insurance adjusting, real estate, entrepreneurship, and media sales, Keith always maintained his connection to TV, joining the KLEW News team in 1997 as a weathercaster.
In August 2004, Keith’s diverse experiences culminated in a leadership role as the President/CEO of the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce. Even during his time in this position, he remained steadfast in his dedication to KLEW, continuing to anchor weather. This multi-talented individual served as the Chamber’s President/CEO until February 2010.
December 2010 marked another milestone in Keith’s career as he stepped into the role of co-anchor for the 5 and 6 o’clock news, in addition to delivering the weather.
In his personal life, Keith finds joy in the company of his wife Elisa and their two grown daughters, Jessica and Amanda. Their family expanded further when they welcomed their first granddaughter on December 29, 2010.
Keith is an avid outdoorsman, relishing in activities like snow skiing, camping, boating, and fishing. His love for nature and adventure is evident in his passion for outdoor pursuits.
