Kendall became a valued member of the WNEM-TV5 team in July of 2020, bringing her passion for reporting to mid-Michigan. Though she was born and raised as a Hoosier, she is excited to call this region her new home.

Kendall Keys Biography and Career

Her educational journey led her to the Media School at Indiana University Bloomington, where she focused on news reporting and editing while specializing in broadcast journalism and public relations. With a strong interest in investigative reporting and true crime, she also pursued a minor in criminal justice.

During her time at IU, Kendall’s dedication and talent quickly propelled her to the top of the student-run news organization. She held multiple roles, serving as the news director, co-host, and producer of the organization’s two shows. Her commitment to journalistic excellence led her to cover the Delphi, IN double murders, an international story of great significance. Beyond her academic pursuits, Kendall completed two valuable internships with WTHR and WANE, further honing her skills and experience.

When she’s not immersed in crime documentaries, Kendall enjoys exploring new workout classes and going for runs to stay active and energized.
