Kenya Young Biography and Career

Kenya Young is a highly accomplished journalist and currently holds the position of executive producer for Morning Edition at NPR.

Her previous role was as the executive producer for All Things Considered on the weekends, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing the show’s day-to-day operations.

Additionally, Kenya played a crucial role in planning Michel Martin’s NPR Presents: Going There national events. Prior to that, she served as a supervising editor on Morning Edition, showcasing her versatility and expertise in different aspects of journalism.

Throughout her tenure at NPR, Kenya has been involved in various capacities, working as an editor and producer for prominent NPR programs such as News & Notes, Day To Day, Tell Me More, and Talk of The Nation. Her journey with NPR began as an intern in the California bureau in 2007, where she laid the foundation for her remarkable career.
