Kaplinsky is a British journalist from England currently working as a presenter for BBC News Six O’Clock News bulletin since October 2005 alongside George Alagiah.
Natasha made the switch from co-hosting BBC Breakfast, the BBC’s flagship early morning news program, which she joined in 2002.
Natasha was a co-presenter on Sky News’ Live At Five before joining the BBC, following several months on the channel’s early morning Sunrise program.
She worked in the press offices of Neil Kinnock and John Smith after leaving Oxford, where she studied English, before responding to an advertisement to provide early morning briefings.
Her abilities were quickly recognized, and she was anchoring Meridian’s evening news program within six months.
She was asked to host Carlton’s London Today and London Tonight, as well as their political show Seven Days, within a year. Kaplinsky began working for Sky News in November of 2000.
She is a proud graduate of Hertford College in Oxford where she studied and earned in English in 1995.
