Paul T. Sweeney serves as the co-host of two popular radio programs, namely “Bloomberg Surveillance” and “Bloomberg Markets AM,” which air on weekdays on Bloomberg Radio.

Before joining Bloomberg Radio, Sweeney held the position of Co-Director of Research for the Americas at Bloomberg Intelligence, the investment research division of Bloomberg. With a career spanning approximately 20 years, he worked as an equity research analyst, specializing in covering the media industry. He gained extensive experience in this field, having worked for several reputable Wall Street firms, including his most recent role at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Sweeney holds an MBA degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, which he earned in 1991. He remains connected to his alma mater as a member of the Board of Visitors. He also completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Richmond, receiving a BA degree in 1986.

With his background in research and deep understanding of the media industry, Paul T. Sweeney brings valuable insights and expertise to his role as a co-host on Bloomberg Radio.
