Margaret Collins, known as Peggy, is an American journalist currently serving as the U.S. economy managing editor for Bloomberg News. Previously, she oversaw the investing team for Bloomberg News in the U.S., which includes the company’s coverage of asset managers and hedge funds.
Prior to her role as team leader, she was a reporter covering topics such as retirement savings, tax policy, wealth management and family offices. She’s been with the company since 2009.
Before joining Bloomberg, Collins was a multimedia editor for MSN’s money channel and a reporter for the Bergen Record newspaper in New Jersey. Collins holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and bachelor’s from the College of the Holy Cross.
