S.E. Cupp is a prominent political commentator and practical conservative known for her candid perspective, and she brings her unique outlook to CNN’s programming and special political coverage. Cupp recently hosted the thought-provoking program SE Cupp Unfiltered on CNN, where she delved into the intense intersection of politics and media.

Prior to that, she led a panel-driven show on HLN that engaged in lively debates on current issues affecting the nation. She became a contributor to CNN in 2013 and a host on HLN in 2017.

Before joining CNN and HLN, Cupp hosted the digital series S.E. Cupp’s Outside With Insiders on CNN.com, where she took political insiders on outdoor adventures. Notable guests on her show included Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) and Rep. Mark Sanford (R-SC), among others. From 2013 to 2014, Cupp co-hosted “Crossfire” on CNN, a reimagined political debate program featuring panelists such as Newt Gingrich, Stephanie Cutter, and Van Jones. Prior to her role at CNN, Cupp co-hosted the roundtable show The Cycle on MSNBC.

Aside from her media appearances, Cupp remains an influential political columnist, culture critic, author, and consultant. She regularly contributes to the New York Daily News, Glamour, and CNN.com. Cupp has authored several books, including “Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media’s Attack on Christianity” and the co-authored work “Why You’re Wrong About the Right” with Brett Joshpe.

Additionally, she has served as a consultant for Apple TV+’s The Morning Show and HBO’s hit series The Newsroom. Cupp has been a contributor to TheBlaze’s Real News and a contributing editor for Townhall Magazine.

Originally from Massachusetts, Cupp now resides in Connecticut and operates from the CNN New York bureau. She is a graduate of Cornell University, where she remains an advisory member for the Institute of Politics and Global Affairs.

She also holds a master’s degree from New York University. In her leisure time, Cupp enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping with her family. She is married and has one son.
