In August 2005 Shana Hiatt got engaged to producer Todd Garner, he is a founding partner of Revolution studios who served as the executive producer on the hit films ‘XXX,’ ‘Anger Management,’ ’13 Going on 30′ and ‘Are We There Yet?’
Shana was previously married (in 1999) to James Van Patten, brother of World Poker Tour co-host Vince Van Patten, but they divorced in 2005.

In 2003 Shana began hosting World Poker Tour , the show aired on Travel Channel every Wednesday evening and repeated every Saturday afternoon. The show was a hit with Shana providing fun insightful commentary, interviews, and background information on the various locales and poker personalities. In April 2005 it was announced that she was not returning to the World Poker Tour for Season 4 as she was pursuing acting. Shana was also the official spokesperson for PartyPoker.com
In 2005, after leaving WPT, she sued WPT, CEO Steve Lipscomb, and ten unnamed ‘John Does’ for ‘intentional interference with economic advantage’. She needed a restraining order to prevent the WPT organisation from forbidding her to work on rival poker shows.
Shana claimed that Lipscomb called executives at NBC, after discovering that she was headed there to host ‘National Heads Up Championship’, and informed them that Shana had signed a non-compete clause after living WPT and employing her she would be violating the said clause. Shana denied signing such clause. She was also suing them for ‘hostile working environment’
Shana Hiatt Poker After Dark
On 11th October 2005 NBC announced that Shana will be the host of ‘Poker After Dark’. The show aired from Monday to Saturday featuring six poker professionals vying for a winner-take-all $120,000 first place prize.
The show was set in the back room of various casinos, it gave viewers an intimate look inside a poker game. In 2008 she took a break from presenting the show due to her pregnancy.

In 1995 she won the Miss Hawaiian Tropic USA, she had previously represented Beach Haven, New Jersey after she won the local Hawaiian Tropic pageant at Touché nightclub in 1994.
In April 1995 she was the cover girl and posed nude inside the pages of Playboy, ‘The Girls of Hawaiian Tropic issue’. She also was on the cover for the video of that photo shoot Playboy: The Girls of Hawaiian Tropic, Naked in Paradise.
