Vanessa Hauc embarked on her career in Colombia in 1993 and later moved to Las Vegas in 1999 to study Journalism at the University of Nevada.
From social, cultural, and political events to natural disasters, Vanessa Hauc has been a key correspondent and a vital source of information, reporting from the scene for “Noticiero Telemundo.”
The 2012 presidential election, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, earthquakes in Chile, Japan, and Haiti, as well as the rescue of the Chilean miners, are just a few of the stories Vanessa has covered.
She worked as a news reporter for Univision’s KINC 15 channel in Las Vegas and served as a host and co-producer of “En Contacto” (KCLV Canal 2), a public affairs program produced by the City of Las Vegas in English for the Hispanic community.
In addition to journalism, Vanessa Hauc also studied French culture and languages at the University of Aix-en-Provence, France, and earned a master’s degree in Economics and International Politics from the University of Miami. In 2002, Vanessa joined the Telemundo network to be part of “Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste” as a reporter and co-host of this popular program before joining “Noticias Telemundo.”
